A CRITICAL FOUNDATION
The critical study was based around the ideas presented in 'Cities for a small planet' by Richard Rogers and aimed to understand how spatially sustainable design can benefit the collective mental health of Generation Z in UK cities. The study evaluated the potential for generational change in Gen-Z and looked at understanding how their mindset could influence the ability for radical spatial change, specifically in urban environments.

This study formed the foundation to the Box For Life Project so its certainly worth a read!
SITE
It started with an in
depth exploration of Birmingham's James Cond Building and Jewellery Quarter.
CONCEPT
The cardboard box was our concept idea and represents creativity, flexibility, sentimentality and sustainability.
DESIGN
Using the 4 design drivers to help we developed the box for life project to encourage a new generation to become tiny home lovers.
